ProfitDeck stores the configuration you give it (suppliers, purchase orders, freight and duty figures, FX rates, fee rate cards, app subscription costs, shipping rules, discount codes, margin floors, alert email) and the catalog and order economics it reads from your store: SKUs, prices, Shopify's cost-per-item field, and per-order totals — order amount, discounts, shipping charged, refunds, market and payment gateway. We also store the Shopify session data required to operate the app.
We never store your customers' personal data. Order rows in ProfitDeck carry no customer names, emails, addresses or identifiers of any kind — only the economics. Our Shopify permissions are read-only: products and orders.
Your data is used for exactly one thing: computing your landed costs, per-order P&L and margin flags, and showing them to you. It is never sold, shared, aggregated across merchants, or used to train anything.
Uninstalling the app stops all processing immediately. When Shopify sends the shop redaction webhook (48 hours after uninstall), we delete your shop record and all dependent data — purchase orders, cost book, orders, rules and configuration. You can export your full cost book and per-order P&L as CSV at any time before uninstalling.
Email delivery (margin-floor alerts, daily digest) uses a transactional email provider with your alert address only. No merchant or customer data is sent to any other third party.
